The Focus Salon of International Photography is being held at the Arti Et Amicitae Museum in Spui, Amsterdam (The Netherlands). This exhibition has 300 prints from 26 countries and a collection of prints from The George Eastman-Museum. It was was held from 5-30 September. 1951
The Spui is a square in the center of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Spui was originally a body of water that formed the southern limit of the city until the 1420’s, when the Singel canal was dug as an outer moat around the city. In 1882 the Spui was filled in and became the square that we know today.
Francis Wu, F.P.S.A., F.R.P.S., Hon. M.P.S., Hon. S.F.F., of Hong Kong has 3 prints in this exhibition, and his print “Blind Love” was reproduced full page in the Salon Catalog. Francis Wu is also an Honorary Member of the Focus Salon.
