The 17th International Photo Salon of Antwerpen is sponsored by the The Fotografische Kring “Iris” in 1950. Antwerp is a city and municipality in Belgium and the capital of the Antwerp province in Flanders, one of Belgium three regions. Antwerp has long was an important city in the nations of the Benelux both economically and culturally. The city has one of the largest seaports in Europe.
